How To Play Better Golf

All golfers no matter what level of experience they have is looking for ways so that they can learn how to play better golf. Today there are lots of sites on the internet today which an offer players of all calibres tips, hints and advice on how to improve all aspects of their game.

The first thing that you should be learning about is knowing just what your limitations are when it comes to the game. You need to look at those areas of your game where you are strong or weak as well as how flexible you and how much stamina you have.

1. Strength
You will know if you have an issue with your strength because although the way you swing your club is good you find that often the ball is not travelling to far in distance. These programs are specifically designed to work on the areas of the body which are used during a game of golf. Not only do they help to improve a players functional strength but they also provide them with better balance and control over each of the shots that they take. During strength training you will need to learn about how to control your muscles and co-ordinate them that they work more effectively together.

2. Flexibility
This is extremely important as your body needs to be flexible so that you are able to swing more consistently. Buy lifting weights (only moderate amounts) for around 12-15 times over a period of 30 to 45 minutes will help to strengthen your muscles but not build them up. Use resistance training as this will increase the blood flow to all areas of the body and give you much more flexibility in your movements. It also helps to strengthen all the tendons and ligaments in each joint of your body which in turn makes them more flexible as well. As well as the resistance training you will need to include a program of stretching exercises as these will further help to improve your bodys flexibility.

Certainly once you know what your bodys limitations are you can then start working on them to improve them? Often a person who spends time working on those areas of their game which are in fact limiting the way they play it will find that the are getting results much faster. So as you can see if you want to learn how to play better golf the first thing you should be really looking at is your own body and just what is limiting you from getting the most out of this extremely popular sport.
